They always seem to call me while im at work or in class so i cant answer the call to tell them to take me off their calling list. I try to call back but usually cant connect. A couple days ago i did get through though and told them to take me off the list and they said they would do it right away. Well i got another call from them today....i was mad. The National Do Not Call Registry is managed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation’s consumer protection agency. It is enforced by the FTC, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and state law enforcement officials. Once you've requested to be on a don not call list, they MUST comply .. jesse8953 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Share Posted September 28, 2009 I use to get that call about a year ago.I told the guy on the phone I would buy what he was selling if he donated to the non-profit club that I belong to.He told me he was not allowed to do so and then I told him to take my name off the list,If you can't help me out I aint helping you out.He hung up on me and they never called back.I got signed up on that do not call list this summer,it works pretty good. The writing is horrible, it's so filled with ads it's annoying, and the publishers need to be fired. Not weekly, but at least 1 to 2 times a month. I can't stomach the sight of Bushman, and think he's a phony. I spoke to an outfitter about him once that had actually hosted a hunt for Bushman, and the outfitter didn't have anything good to say of him either. Went as far as calling him arrogant. If so, that's why they are constantly calling you. I did that and began receiving at least 4 calls/wk. Finally I told them I did not want to join, and where they could go. They asked "So all you wanted to do was win free stuff?" I said, Ya, pretty much, then a phrase with many expletives that equated to "leave me alone and never call me again". It worked, I did that 3 years ago and haven't heard a peep from them since. I had very little respect for Jackie Bushman and Buckmasters before that, and have absolutely none for him now.
