We had to be winched in and out. The pics don't do these hills justice! Crew preparing a tie in... Booms on the hillside.... Coal mine from a distance.... This pic kinda gives you an idea. You can see how small my hoe looks from the top of this one... I found my hoe in a bit of a bind after lunch one day. I anchored to it to help hold a section and the banks caved in on two booms causing my hoe to lift like this. Tractor pull where we are staying.... Diggin some ditch.... A view from my "office" I wasn't ready for this one... The line extends from the Opal Hub in Wyoming, to West Virginia.... A look inside... Drag section.... Yea its natural gas coming from the Opal Hub there in Wyoming. Didn't know you ran the backhoe too. Cool. I run the tracks if they're short handed and I'm not busy. Since it's the end of the job they're needing everyone they can get whose licensed in the union to operate heavy machinery so I help out. They actually pay me an extra 10$ and hour and give me free gasoline when I run the tracks. It's crazy to me, cause I actually enjoy the crap out of it.
