TCFORLIFE Posted September 29, 2009 Report Share Posted September 29, 2009 I had posted before that my son wanted to stay the night at a friends house on the friday night before VA's youth hunt, so that ruled out hunting the next morning. We went out that evening with my brother and it was raining all day, but we went out anyway. I'm sure glad we did, we set up in a ground blind in the middle of a field where we always see deer and not even 15 minutes after we set up out comes this doe. My son told me he wanted to take the first one that came out so here you go, shot was a little over 100 yards, smoked her. Perfect heart shot. He was so happy, not to mention how proud I was.
