wtnhunt
Trusses supposed to be delivered Monday, hopefully they will have the roof decked by the end of next week. Back of the house. Will be our 2 younger daughters rooms on this end. Original plans did not call for it, but had to have the 2 windows added on the end in the kids room to look out over the pasture. Front of the house.

wtnhunt
looks great so far, william. why haven't you back filled yet? it's soooo much easier to build on a level lot. I would be ready to start moving dirt with my tractor Steve, but I am waiting on my contractor to snap the ties in the concrete and mortar in the holes so I can seal the concrete before backfilling. Supposed to be dry through to Thursday, good chance I may get it backfilled this next weekend if it stays dry. That's coming along very nicely! Must be exciting. Do you have an approximate move-in date? Between the wiring, plumbing, and all the interior finishing gonna have my hands pretty full. It will likely be after the first of the year Diana, realistically I am thinking we may be in by next spring.

snapper
Looking good William...you should see if the contractor would let you in to start staining while they are building. With nothing around (stone foundation, decks, windows, doors, etc...) you could slap it on pretty darn quick...maybe even spray?
devildog
Looks cool! I helped my in-laws build theirs. Its alot of hard work but will be worth it in the end. They just started building the garage. Seems it just never ends!
