buckee
Bummer ..If you hadn't of had to cut your hunt short, it wouldn't have been so bad. Maybe it was an anti-hunter just trying to get you out of the bush ...LOL

Newarcher
Rules of craigslist: 1) Never let anyone come to your house....I have a friend who has the world's biggest heart and she will post things for FREE on craigslist and let people come to her house to get them. I talked her out of doing that again. 2) Count on maybe 10% of people keeping their appointments and never alter your plans to meet someone. 3) Never ship anything and never take a check for more than the sale amount (refunding the difference). 4) I meet people at a convenient police station. The people who run off when you stipulate that were probably going to try to jack you of your mdse or cash. I have had any bad experiences....done quite well on buying and selling. If buying, I routinely offer 55% of the listing price. If the seller takes it...good. If not....no biggie. New

joeaveragehunter
$100? to leave hunting early? I would expect an "honest" person to know its hunting season. Ha ha
Jeramie
Craigslist... Its pretty typical. Anytime you sale anything on Craigslist expect those....
