bfletch7441
Thinking about getting a pocket .380, and know a few folks that have the Kel-Tec, but none that have the Ruger. Anyone have one? Like/dislike? How much did you pay? Is it able to carried in a pants pocket? Thanks. Ben
toddyboman
The ruger LCP is TINY!! Yes it would easily fit in your pocket. I have not shot one....but I would think it would not be very accurate. More of a stick in the bad guys belly type of gun.
Hoosierbuck
Moderately accurate, and in the pocket of my dockers right now. Don't recall what I paid, but it wasn't bad. I am pretty happy with it. HB

KSlongbeard
I have run about 500 rounds through mine and it functions perfect every time. I carried it all of wheat harvest and got it very dirty however it ran all seven rounds like always. It is a good carry option to have. I daily carry a XD .45 compact however there are times that the LCP it the real deal. I trust my life to it as it has never let me down during training. snapper
I just picked up a LCP...haven't shot it yet...but seems like a nice, well built gun!
terry264
Nice pistol, surprisingly accurate for their size, definitely not a "belly gun". You'll like it, just remember: rule 1 = keep the "meat" of your hand below the slide travel,,,,,it hurts. rule 2 = let it snap closed to go into battery, don't baby it, and remember rule 1. rule 3 = use more of the end of your trigger finger on the trigger or you'll run out of travel before that loooong trigger pull fires it, as your finger will hit your thumb and stop you, and remember rule 1. Also, a laser site is really nice on these and they can be had reasonable from elsiepeastore.com (site name sounds like LCP, haha). They have one for 119 and the crimson trace laser grip for 154 I think. Enjoy, and don't forget rule 1.
Strut10
Never touched one. But it's gotta be better than anything Kel-Tec ever made.
johnf
Haven't shot the LCP but have shot the kel-tec and absolutely hated them. The LCP seems to have a much better trigger than the kt's. If anyone is looking for a little 9, take a good hard look at the Taurus 709 slim. A buddy of mine has one and it is a pleasure to shoot. VERY NICE trigger and a lot more accurate than you would think. Not as small as the LCP, but is a 9+1 9mm that can fit in your pocket.
