DocMort
So as I posted earlier in the week, it was pretty slow in the San Juan this week. Pretty warm and a full moon. We hunted hard covered approx 7-8 miles daily, and didn't see anything after the opening day. It was a blast and I believe we are hooked now. We did hit that bull Saturday and couldn't find him anywhere. Me and dad were kind of heartbroke.
RTPROFamily
As long as you had a good time is what counts! Next time you go you will have a little more knowledge than before. That's hunting!

Dawg
I was in the Red Mesa area the same time you were in San Juan, wish I would have known sooner perhaps we could have met up and had lunch! Were you hunting public or private land? Reason I ask is the brother in law of the guy we lease land from had some guys elk hunting in the same area you were in. I believe his name is Ron and his last name slips my mind but it started with a G.
