[ QUOTE ] There's a reason that classroom videos have a reputation for being boring: They usually are. But once in a while, a video comes along that's actually interesting and informative at the same time. One of these enjoyable videos is called "Just Choices." Here at PETA2, we actually like it so much that we want to help you get this video into your classroom. What's more, we'll actually hook you up with PETA2 Street Team points-which, of course, you can redeem for free stuff-just for providing your teacher's contact info. Visit http://www.peta2.com/tc/t-JustChoiceform.asp?c=963 for more information. Sincerely, Chris Garnett Street Team Coordinator People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) 501 Front St. Norfolk, VA 23510 [email protected] http://www.peta2.com<br [/ QUOTE ] They are hitting up the youngsters that are checking out the Peta2 site, and if they supply their teachers contact ifno, they can gain points towards free stuff, etc.......talk about lowdown..... They know that trying to win adults over is a lost cause, so they are trying to recruit the kids.....we've got to our best to reach the youngsters, before they do... Rrrrriiiight.....Send me the videos....hundreds of them: PLEASE....(it costs money to produce these things) I can use them to stoke my furnace. Not only that, I can't believe that it is legal to solicite any information from a child under 13 without parental consent; Get one of your kids to go to the site and give up that info then raise holy heck for them preying on your children...Man, PETA get a clue:
muggs
Re: PETA\'s hitting the schools again... here's a copy of the emial a just sent that jerk: Hey, I am avid animal lover and I'd like to receive some more info on this topic. I think it's a great idea to imbed PETA's radical ideals into our nations children. You should hurry and do it while their fragile- eggshell minds are still easily controlled and contorted, brainwashed I should say. Let's corrupt as many as we can...I have visions of a militant youth PETA army, marching along spouting nonsense from their diseased mouths. By the way- giving them free junk in exchange for teacher contact info, is not only brilliant, but also extremely ethical. Nice going guys. Oh no, gotta run, my steak is almost done. Yummy Yum Nice going PETA!! Two thumbs up.
