Missilelock
I am looking to buy a lower end priced camcorder to use for camcording my girls softball team , pitching & hitting. I need to be able to put the video on my computer by usb or card reader & slow it down into frame by frame slow motion & have it still be reasonably clear, so I can help the girls see their mechanical flaws. Is there any such camcorder out there?? Also does anyone have any experience with the kodak zi8?? thanks
backwoods07
I have a Zi8 that I bought to take to the treestand with me about 2 months ago. I love it so far. Make sure you have a computer that is fast enough to play back high def video though. The software it comes with is great and very easy to use. The camera itself is even easier to use. I don't have a single complaint about the camera. I actually did the exact same thing you want to do. I recorded my brother's swing. I recorded in 720P at 60 fps, plugged the camera into the HDTV with the HDMI that came with the camera, and went over his swing at 10% speed. Missilelock
thanks a lot-07, how was the video at the 10%speed??
backwoods07
I tried it in a couple different modes, and it was pretty darn blurry in all of them except for 60 fps. Even in 1080p 30 fps the video stayed blurry until I ran it at about 60-70%.
