The pouch is nice for keeping it untangled, but I haven't had a problem with even the standard SOP's that come with their stands. Just hold it up by the back tether and fold it up neatly. You do not want to be hanging in the tree unable to climb back up. I set mine high so that if I loose my balance I am still close to my sitting heigth. You may survive the fall but the hanging will kill you. Not many people know this but it is true. You can have heart failure from lack of circulation within 5 mins. Be carefull.
