Diamond Archer 01
Heavy is fine tho. I shoot carbon express heritage arrows which are made for traditional shooters and I shoot them out of my compound. Right now they are 450 grains and they are going over 240 fps I think. If you want to go with a lighter arrow maybe you should go with goldtips or carbon express maximas.

cray8705
I shot Goldtips for a couple of years and never had much luck with them. I missed several deer and was never very consistent at the target either. I switched to Beman ICS Hunter's this year and they are great. I shot my first deer with a bow this season, which was a doe, and then followed that up with a buck a couple weeks after that. I would recommend looking into some Beman ICS hunters. The Kid
heavy is good, a heavy arrow will hit with more force than a lighter arrow at a faster rate,, i shoot full metal jackets which are 11.1 grains per inch,, if you wanted a lighter arrow go with the gold tips there a solid arrow for the money

My arrow is pretty heavy which means more penetration.

I am shooting the Easton Power Flights. They are not the fanciest arrows but I shoot great with them. Before I had these I had the Beaman ICS arrows and those were also good priced and shot awesome with them. That shows that u don't need expensive arrows. But there is defiently nothing wrong with heavy arrows.

arrow32
Right now I'm shooting Axis Nano's and there a pretty decent arrow not to badly priced. About 120 bucks for a dozen I think. Shot Beman ICS Hunters good arrow as well along with Easton 2413's. The Flatlines by Easton are pretty sweet arrows as well. Although I don't understand why your worried about wieght. What you loose in wieght you make up for in speed with Kentic Energy. What you loose in speed you gain in wieght for Kentic Energy its really no problem either way and light or heavy either way you go will work more than fine. All about the shot placement. DocMort
You want to go light with a good spine look at the Victory hv6 350 spine, stiff and only weight it at like 6.2 gpi. Heavy is good but my old bow shooting 358 FPS with a 356 grain arrow had over 100 FPS of KE. Enough as they say to topple an Elephante
ChrisSeb53
I shoot Cabela's Stalker Extreme carbon arrows...the 65/80 are what i shoot and they are 9.3 gpi.. +-.003 straightness... come fletched with blazers... feathers, quikspins and regular vanes... they are tough as heck and the most expensive are ones pre-fletched with the quikspins for about 80 bucks a dozen... cant beat 'em.. IMO:cool2:
Tom2008
I've been shooting Easton Axis and Axis N-Fused arrows for 3 years now and I haven't found a better arrow. Extremely tough and awesome penetration on game.
