If you dont mind a little de-forestation in the process...LOL I cant imagine the barrell would hold up to alot of use before warping. I would think the lead bullets of the .22LR would be a lot easier on the barrel than jacketed bullets would be from a machine gun or sub gun. Also a lot easier on the pocket too.
