The_Kat
So I ordered my rims last week for the Dodge. Noticed I never recieved an email with my tracking number, and then noticed the funds still hadn't left my account. I waited most of the day yesterday to see if they'd call or whatever....they being Rim Zone. Never called, so around 4PM I called them to see what was up. I was told they lost my tracking number during a system crash, and also that my order was shipped and should arrive today as promised. Well they never called me back with my tracking number like they promised before I hung up yesterday so I called again this morning. Come to find out the idiots only had three of the rims I ordered, and were going to ship me a different price equivilant set of rims instead. They lied and hadn't shipped them like they had said they did. I was baffled and immediately canceled my order with them. Also called the bank and told them to put a stop payment on any charges these idiots might try to put on my account. I had a fishy suspicion when I placed my order by how unprofessional the guy was, and they confirmed it with their crappy business tactics. I wonder what they thought I'd do when I opened my boxes to find the wrong rim???? Anyways to make a bad day better, I ordered the same set of rims from another company for 45$ more. Should be here Monday.

wtnhunt
Maybe a sign Kyle. Don't get the rims. lol. I basically sold/traded our factory 20's from our durango back to the dealership in order to get the price where I wanted it. Ended up with 17's and the same tires. Can relate to your frustration or irritation, got issues we were recently misled on with a pretty major purchase/deal. Strange how some places try to do business. Pretty crappy when a business/seller tries to pull the wool over consumers eyes or just blatantly lies to them like they will never find out or won't know any the better. Would seem integrity and honesty in business would win customers, but seems many sellers out there just don't have any morals and simply don't care so long as they can make a buck, very sad. 92xj
That does suck and is frustrating. Glad you figured it out before they shipped.
Dawg
I hate it when that happens. Me and the family went into a resturant the other day, price came out to just over $40. My wife checked the bank records the next day to balance the check book and the resturant withdrew $52. The day I was going to go back by there and discuss it, they fixed it before I got there.........lucky them cause I was a little ticked. ruttinbuc
Yep, you have to be careful with everyone you deal with anymore. Especially, on the internet. Honesty and integrity seem to be a thing of the past. Everywhere you turn there is someone hitting you over the head for your wallet. Even the bank who is will most likely charge you for stopping a transaction. Right there at the top of the money chain is where the greed starts. joeaveragehunter
Better to pay a little more and get what you want.

stevebeilgard
it's hard to believe that they are such a crummy business that they would send you out rims that you did not order. no one you ever want to deal with, for sure. from the title of this thread, though, i thought your ice skating partner dropped you.... lol
