Prairiepredator
I got this picture in an email today. Now this is how we blow snow here in Saskatchewan! Lol...I can't say I have ever actually seen something like this in real life, but I thought it was pretty cool! Shaun_300
Haven't seen one on a combine like that, but a lot of people have snowblowers hooked up to tractors in this area. My boss bought a tractor just to snow blow and plow, has a blade on the front and a blower hooked to the PTO on the back.

Wobbly_Alaska
Oh heck we use rigs like that all the time up here on the runways.. and the Haul road on the north slope to keep them open. I spent 7 years In Valdez, AK where the average snow fall is 335-500 inches a year and can dump a foot an hour. blowers like that are used after the plows have made it so tall (10-15 foot high)on the road edges we need them to blast it away... up north it is the wind creates drifts several miles long and the plows can not open them up. aught to see what one looks like after a blade edge off the grader runs through one:jaw:
dbHunterNY
Saw a couple pieces of equipment very similar to those working at the same time to clear snow at a small airport in the UP in Michigan. It was a pretty cool sight.
