Muleyman
My mom was just telling me about this this morning. Apparently after the Canada vs. USA game last night wen Canada one they were smoking ciggars and drinking on the ice. And now I guess the other teams are mad. Did anyone else here about this? But I don't think it is a huge deal. Edited February 26, 2010 by Muleyman
MCH
Haven't heard about the other teams, but I'm pretty sure the Olympic Committee is upset with them. Think I read an article where a rep from IOC commented that celebrating in their lockeroom would've been acceptable but on the center ice in front of the public was over the top??? Larry
I am sure they were extremely happy, and had a lot of pressure on them before the game to win, however at this level of competition there should be a little class shown. joeaveragehunter
Its not gonna matter. Womens hockey got put on probation and probably won't even be in the olympics in four years. The U.S. and Canada out scored their opponents 66-3 and apparently people were not impressed.

gzilla45
I'm not much of a hockey fan but I'll say this was a great game. They probably should just let team USA and Canada have a best of 7 series every olympics to see who gets the gold. It would be much more entertaining. As for the celebration while I'm not totally against it, I think it might have ben better suited in the locker room. But I'm sure they were extremely proud and happy so whatever. camoman1
There is always some controversy about something that happened in the olympics everyday it seems.......seems people are more interested in what someone may have done that was ''controversial'' than they are in who won what. And by ''people'' I mean the media.
col3
I see nothing wrong with it, when you win the ship you deserve to have a good time after bustin your butt to win it, ive been in a couple celebrations like this myself and when you win somthing that big, its time to have a good time
