Newarcher Posted February 26, 2010 Report Share Posted February 26, 2010 We were just settling in to the new routine with my wife working and then my son gets strep late last week. My daughter gets it and a stomach virus over the weekend and Monday. Try working from home with kids that are re-enacting the exorcist. Monday morning I woke up with a debilitating strep throat. It really knocked me off my feet for two and a half days. Then I got a reprieve from it Wednesday and had just more energy than I ever had. Felt great. Thursday I was just dragging butt and today found out why. I have my daughter's stomach virus. I can't keep an ounce of water or anything else down. They should have shut down the school because most of the kids in both of our kid's classes have been out several days over the last two weeks. Instead, parents send their kids to school sick so they can work and give it to everyone. I am exhausted. I feel like I have been run over by a truck. I am stumbling around here pretty dehydrated and I tell you I feel half dead. In fact, in between heaves I was saying a prayer for Tominator and Jeramie.
