Jeramie
We are in full swing with this farmers market. I am in the process of building a 7-page website with contact information, pricing, etc. Our local ISP will host up to a 5mb page but it will have a networked address, etc. Its also only 5mb. As of right now im at 9mb and will likely end up around 12-15mb. I would also really like to have my own address. I know we have to have some internet guru in here that can fill me in on hosting. I need basic pricing (including start up) and the ins and outs porfavor! I will have the site ready to put online likely by the end of the week. hutchies
www.glowhost.com This is who I use to host mine. Best thing to do is get on a shared server as it is alot cheaper. They guaruntee 99% up time so you don't have much server maintanence. Due to my forums I have to use a much bigger package but you should check this page......... http://www.glowhost.com/hosting/shared/budget/index.php
Jeramie
So $5 a month for the 3-star. What about the domain name? Where does all this come into play... is this only going to cost me $60 a year?!
hutchies
Your domain name is free. They handle it. I've used these guys for 2 years now.
