RangerClay
A little over a year ago I started converting an old bedroom into a man cave. I made a post in the Lounge asking for print recommendations and my buddy Gary made a suggestion that I had to have, Now I have purchased the print and I have found someone locally who can do the matting for me. I am going to use the arrow that I killed my first buck with last fall and I have never cleaned it. But now I am somewhat stuck and I would like your opinion. If you were going to make the print above for your man cave. Would you have them frame the arrow with the dried on blood it or would you clean the arrow? woolybear
I'd go with clean. Just think it's a more respectfull tribute to the trophy and that shown by the taker. That is a great print Joe. Sure it will look good in the cave.
Jeramie
Im right on the fence but I have to agree, clean. To me blood is part of hunting but for decoration in the house it would be cleaned. The blood may mean a little something to you (as does the arrow) but to someone else its just nasty dried blood.
wtnhunt
Thinking clean too Joe. Very nice print there.

Diamond Archer 01
I am a little different and would go with keeping the dried blood on it. I think it would mean a little more to you and be a little cooler. I kept the arrow that I hit a deer with this year and it still has the dried blood on it. I think it looks pretty cool. This is just my opinion tho.
JimPic
With that picture,I'd go clean. If it were a picture of your buck, leave it as it is
bluelund79
I'm voting for clean. That sure is a nice print also!

If it were a picture of your buck, leave it as it is and yep...another good point... in this specific scenario, i have to agree.

camoman1
Thats a cool print... I like the clean idea too. I would maybe leave a speck or two on the broadhead...maybe. But I do think clean shaft and fletchings for sure.
ChrisSeb53
I would go clean too... just my opinion... If you go clean somebody may ask why the arrow is in the frame... Then you can go into detail and tell the story of your hunt... Which is always fun
ruttinbuc
I'd have to say clean it also. That is a great print showing reverence to the animal. This is missing more and more today.
Straight Shooter
That is a great picture and an awesome tribute to the animal as well as the hunt. I'd keep the blood on it myself, you know people will ask if that is the arrow you killed it with since it doesn't have the blood on it. I keep my arrows that I kill my bucks with and the blood is still on all of them except one. That was the first one I ever killed a buck with and regretted cleaning it after I did it. dbHunterNY
I'd go with a clean arrow too. I've still got an arrow from shooting my first predator. I cleaned it, but it still has a puncture in one of the vains where it got bitten. Never thought of the picture idea though that's great. Texan_Til_I_Die
I'd leave the blood on it. But then again, I don't really care if offend someone with it.

buckee
I've always loved that painting. I'd go with a clean arrow too.
swohiodave
In your man cave, if it is a true man cave, you do what will make you happy. I have the antlers from my first deer with half of the arrow with dried blood on it sitting on top of the plaque. If i was putting it on a frame I may clean it up just because the frame is nice and clean and that just seems like the common sense thing to do.
