Unfortunately kids compensate very well when sick, then crash quickly. I too am very surprised he didn't have a febrile seizure. Prayers for the whole family. We had the exact same issue with our boy about a year and a half ago. 105 fever and pretty much unresponsive. We put him in a cold bath for a few minutes and brought him straight to the hospital.
