bow hunter steve
what kind of broadheads should i buy, stingers or muzzys?
Diamond Archer 01
Hey steve, I think you meant to say stingers or muzzys. They are both great broadheads so either one would be a good choice I think.
Muleyman
U can NOT go wrong with Muzzy. I would have to say get Muzzy! well priced and awesome!
Straight Shooter
Both are great broadheads but I am more partial towards Muzzy. I've shot them for nearly two decades with great success.

RangerClay
One complaint I frequently hear from Muzzy shooters is that they don't fly like field tips. Therefore they have to change their sight pins. Slick Tricks Rock! They fly like field tips so you don't have to change your set-up. I've never met anyone who uses Stingers but Uncle Ted likes them. BigDog
I use only muzzys, always worked great, killed many deer and a bear with em.

I heard that same thing too Joe. My dad used muzzy once and had to adjust all of his pins because they didnt shoot like his field tips did. But either broadhead is a great choice and are both good broadheads.
Straight Shooter
This isn't to hyjack the thread on tuning but two things I found that really helped with Muzzy's flying with fieldtips. Is don't use the wrench that is provided to tighten the trocar tip down, it flexes or bends the blades. I just finger tighten them and they work great. Aligning the blades up with the fletchings work well also.

I shoot muzzys on everything from deer to groundhogs... straight shooter pretty much hit it on the head... just tighten then trocar tip down with your fingers.. and if you align the blades with your fletchings you should get better flight... not necessarily field tip flight, but it does make for MUCH less sight adjustment
Larry
They are all good, depending on your setup. I have always used NAP Spitfires, and Thunderheads before that. I have also used the Shuttle T Locks. And they all performed great for me.
