BearClaw
Just got back from Baltimore from seeing "The Phantom of the Opera". I bought tickets for my wife's birthday because she loves it and I must say, it is a really great opera! We saw it before in Pittsburgh a couple of years ago. Stopped in at Bass Pro today before we left and that's just a cool place to shop! Anyone ever see the "Phantom"?
Ashley
I've only seen the movie, but I would love to see it on Broadway someday. It is definitely one of my favorites!

WHISKEYSWAMP
haven't seen Phantom but did get my gf tickets to see Wicked for her birthday a little while back... not a bad show, the effects were good for a stage show but I couldn't hear everything so I was a little lost... the gf loved it. LOL. I can relate to this one. Last year I bought tickets to The Phantom in NY City. I always wanted to take my wife to a show. I researched many of them and picked the Phantom. I got the tickets for a good price by purhcasing a coupon on eBay for 5 bucks. The tickets then were purchased for half price! So I bought the tickets and we went. The night started off with a long line, which we figured we had to wait in, even though we had tickets. Then some big guy with a long black leather coat approached us and said, "go to the front". I was thinking, "Who is this idiot"? He then starts yelling that he is security and announces that since we already had tickets, why were we standing in line. Hmm, I thought for a second about the fact that he was right. He then started yelling that we must all be standing in line because we want to. Well after that we just started to go inside. The show finally started and I was confused because I had Phanton confused with The Hunchback of Notre Dame for some reason. Within 5 minutes I was alseep. My wife knudged me and I managed to stay awake for most of it. I guess I am not much of a Broadway theatre guy. Oh, and a beer during intermission was like 8 bucks.
