Shaun_300
I got home yesterday from our fishing trip, never got around to making a post about it or uploading pics. We all had a great time, finished up my transmission job around 6:15 thursday night and left from there. Friday was beautiful! It was around 40 when we first got to the lake, so it was a bit cool for the first part of the morning. Then it warmed up to 50-55 with sun and hardly any breeze, which was nice! There was threat of a winter storm coming through when we got back to my uncles from fishing, said up to 6 inches of snow Saturday. The next morning we woke up to temps around 27 and heavy fog, with threat of the storm we decided to wait to see what the weather does, since we have to drive 20 miles or so from my uncles into Algonquin Park. Thank goodness we stayed, because by 10:00 it looked like January outside, it was snowing so hard you could hardy see 20 feet! We ended up not going out at all, we got 8 inches of snow by Sunday morning. Ended up playing Tiger Woods 10 on PS3 most of saturday with my brother, uncles and cousins. Still had an awesome time! Always nice to get away for a few days. Here's some pics I took while I was away. Small Lake Trout that I caught, the total was 5 on Friday. Dad's record breaker. One of the lake we were on, Kiosk Lake in northern Algonquin Park. There was spots that we were 30 yards from shore and it was 120 feet deep! Really neat lake, Deepest spot I saw was 160 feet. Had to run out and pull dad's truck into the driveway in case the snow plows came by, had to put it in 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway, this was only at 2pm on Saturday! A few more I took of the snow. A few I took on the way home, lots of big hills in this part of Ontario. (Western Quebec on the left of both of these pics)
