m gardner Posted June 11, 2010 Report Share Posted June 11, 2010 We're getting a little break in the triple digit heat. It's gone down into the 90's from a high of 114. It does make the wax penetrate into your bowstring nicely though. It's entertaining too. My neighbors think I'm a drunk now. I ride a motorcycle to and from work (when I work) and the heat got to me one day. I missed the kickstand and fell over in the parking lot of the little mall nextdoor. You're talking about Canadians here, not used to that kind of heat, especially in May. Sometimes we get it that hot in the summer, but it was still spring! Sometimes we still have snow in early May. Anything over 100 is HOT, and you are not the first person to miss the stand and drop your bike like an idiot (I'm in that crowd). Shaun, there's no doubt in my mind the climate is changing big time. I am probably in the extreme minority in this forum, but things are getting hotter boys! Anytime Canada has had higher temps than south MS is pretty strange. During times of warming we flourished. The humidity back east is dreadful. I spent time in Virginia at Fort Eustis in the summer. Brutal at 90 degrees.
