The_Kat
We had a bad accident on the job today. A welders helper got clotheslined by a canopy swinging from a welding pipe boom and hit in the neck. He was out cold. I was in my dark room running film when the call came out over the radio for help. I jumped out and took off down the hill to find him in pretty bad shape. Got him calmed and stable. Did the usual EMT stuff and waited on the real EMT's. They ended up flying him out with head and neck injuries. He is doing well though as of 5PM. I hate that the guy was injured but it just reminded me how much I miss being in LE and emergency situations. I felt right at home.

redkneck
Good for you Kyle! I've been in some ugly situations before, but not too bad at work. Most folks freak out, but somebody has to do what needs to be done.

Ethan Givan
Thats great Kyle. The most important thing in a situation like that is just staying calm so you can think clearly. I was in a pretty bad car accident a couple years ago and everyone in the car with me just lost it. Even though I wasnt driving, I was the only one in the accident that could tell the police what happened and probably the only one that could even tell them my phone number. Great job.
