Tis time for, Name that Tune!

We havnet done it in a while and things are slow. So lets kick it off...

The rules: Name the tune and artist, then submit your own. No one can submit a tune until the previous tune has been solved. And finally, keep the music mainstream. No Joe Bob Newholland from your hometown. Make sure the music is mainstream and was played on the radio so we can keep it fun!

First submission! Artist and song? GO....

I got the call today I didn’t want to hear,

But I knew that it would come.

And oh two friends of ours were talking on the phone

She said you found someone.

And I thought of all the bad luck

And the struggles we went through.

The Unforgiven III - Metalica

Though time gets you worrying

My friend, it's o.k.

Just take your life easy

And stop all that hurrying,

Be happy my way.

When tension starts mounting

And you've lost count

Of the pennies you've missed,

Just try hard and see why they're not worrying me,

They're last on my list.

So tired of the straight line

And everywhere you turn

There’s vultures and thieves at your back

And the storm keeps on twisting

You keep on building the lie

That you make up for all that you lack

Angel- Sarah Mclachlan

They're last on my list.

Hair of the dog - Nazareth

Here's one for your guitar players. Try pickin' this one out sometime...

Got out of town on a boat goin' to southern islands,

Sailing a reach before a followin' sea.

She was makin' for the trades on the outside,

And the downhill run to Papeete Bay.

Off the wind on this heading lie the Marquesas.

We got eighty feet of the waterline

Nicely making way.

In a noisy bar in Avalon I tried to call you,

But on a midnight watch I realized why twice you ran away.
