Orion_70
Does anyone have this camera? Any issues with it? Gander Mountain has them on sale tomorrow for $69.99 so I may go pick a couple up
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Chasingame.com has done a review on it. I have been looking at getting a camera or two, and after doing a lot of reading on their forums and some other forums, this one and the primos truthcam46 were both on my list to get. After seeing this price I will probably head out and get a couple also.
Orion_70
Good to hear. I'll check that site and see what their review was. The Gander flier has it listed as Saturday only limit 4. That's the best price I've found on it.. I plan to add 2 to my hunting tools tomorrow.
bluelund79
Buy the 4 that you are alotted! I own 2. They work very well, and comared to their 1.3 original, their battery life is very good. I used them near potential stand sights on the 20 acres that I hunt, and didn't work about batteries, they were about 3/4 full after 3 months and a couple hundred pics-both day and night. the IR works very well. Very underestimated, and while I don't like worrying about theives, I'd rather be out 85 bucks (what I apid for mine each) than what some of the others cost, not factoring in security boxes and locks and what not. I really don't think you will be disappointed, I know I haven't been....
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Well did ya make it out there to get any? I got up and was there the minute they opened the doors. There were a few other people who must have been faster than me because they took the last ones. I was kind of PO'd that they only had 3 in the whole store! I ended up coming home and ordering them online, free shipping, but they are backordered. Oh well, at least I'll still get them at that price. I remembered last night that I still had a $25 gift card too, so I used that and bought 2 of them . Flint, Mi Gander Mountain is one strike away from being boycotted by me. Every other store I have gone to has been nice, they always have things in stock. This one, I swear if someone who has never been there before walks in they would think the store is new. I don't understand how you couldn't have put away stock or something for a product like this when you are having a one day sale on the item. Orion_70
Well, I got there when they opened also.. and they didn't have a single camera on the shelf!! There was around 30 people there when they opened the doors. A few of us all went back to the camera section and the area for those cameras was bare. We asked the salesman behind the counter at the archery dept and he hunted for 30 minutes and couldnt' find any in back. We got rainchecks though. I checked before I left and saw they dropped the price online also, I was debating on whether or not to order them or just wait on the call when they come into the store. I don't know if they'll fill the online backorders first or ship to the stores. I might just order a couple online and then buy a couple at the store with the raincheck. I'll check with some people at the lease and see if they want some that way I can get all 4 at the store too. There were a few people there P'od they didn't have any. I wasn't that surprised though as I went by a differnt GM thursday by work and they only had 4 on the shelf there. I expected to see a couple of endcaps full of stock for the sale. I was just hoping they had them all in the back and waiting on the sale Saturday to put them out.
bluelund79
Seems to me some of the emplyees took the first dibs deal....Bummer for those who went. Glad I can't drive for another 3 weeks, because if I had traveled 45 min to one store or an hour to other and came back empty handed, po'd would have been an understatement.... Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I wasn't that surprised though as I went by a differnt GM thursday by work and they only had 4 on the shelf there. I expected to see a couple of endcaps full of stock for the sale. I was just hoping they had them all in the back and waiting on the sale Saturday to put them out. The problem with ours is that every time you go in there, they have moved everything around so you really don't know what they have and don't have. The shelves seemed to be full of bushnells, moultries and cuddebacks. Maybe these cameras are just that good and everyone wants them. Like you I expected them to at least have a stash in the back that they were saving for this sale, but seeing that they were backordered, maybe they just can't keep them in stock. I will say though, I checked Wildgame Innovations website last week and they didn't have the IR4c and some other models listed, but when I checked the other day they had a whole bunch of new models, so maybe that is the problem, they are to new and they just don't have the camo ones ready to go yet. BUT,Before I seen these prices was trying to decide between them and the Primos TruthCam 46. Well I couldn't help it, after ordering these two WGI cameras I did some more searching and I found a decent deal on eders.com for the primos ($118.99, other places were $129.99 to $159.99) Soooo I went ahead and ordered that one as well :D. Will be fun testing them out against each other. I am not sure if I am going to return one of the WGI cams or not, I really don't have a use for 3 cams at the moment. If anyone is looking for the PRimos cam, check eders.com, they have them for $118.99 like I said above (my total was $127.94 after shipping) Natchez Shooter supply also has them on sale for $114.99, but with shipping it was a little bit more because they add a couple dollars for insurance, but it is still a good deal. Orion_70
Well, GM just called, they received a shipment of the cameras in and have them at customer service for those who grabbed a raincheck. Haven't seen anything ship from my online order yet, so I guess they shipped to stores first. I'll go grab a couple tonight so I can hang them this weekend. Yeah they must have shipped to the stores first, I contacted them the other day and they told me they were getting a shipment on the 21st and that I should get mine a few days later. I did get the Primos cam in that I ordered from eders.com. Unfortunately I got a bad one, or I think it possibly could have been dropped (the package was smashed on the one of the corners) because it does not work. I contacted Primos this morning and they are sending me a shipping label to send this one back, then they are sending out a new one. Orion_70
Picked up 2 at GM yesterday using the Raincheck I got from last weekend, got a notification last night the other 2 I ordered online shipped. Looks like I'll have four of them to test out. I've got to go grab some more sd cards so I can set these 2 out tomorrow and see how they do.
