gzilla45
Anybody have any experience with the Redhead Squaltex line of rain gear? I found a set from Bass Pro that I'm thinking about getting and I was hoping to get some feedback before I drop $170 on a suit. They rate well from the Bass Pro users but I take those reviews with a grain of salt. Thanks, Gary
Texan_Til_I_Die
I have no first hand experience with SqualTex, but my experience with other brands and types of breathable waterproof materials has led me to believe that there's just no substitute for the original Gore Tex. Casey
Check out the new under armour rain suit, very pricey, but looking sweet!!!
Orion_70
I have no first hand experience with SqualTex, but my experience with other brands and types of breathable waterproof materials has led me to believe that there's just no substitute for the original Gore Tex. That's what I've also seen. I've got the military issue goretex pants and parka and haven't found anything that beats them yet for waterproof / breathable rain gear. I've kept bone dry in some heavy downpours while huddled up like a squirrel in my treestand.

wtnhunt
No experience with squaltex. Cabelas dry plus lines work very well.
