Outdoor Writers?

Well...I'm a freelance outdoors writer and am a contributing writer for www.suite101.com. I've held an outdoors column in two local papers and have been published in North American Hunter magazine. Suite 101 would be a great place for you to start at, but you need to write in 3rd person...kind of like you're reporting. My advice would be to write down stuff about your hunts...right it down or type it and form your articles from there after giving more thought to it. Here is the link to my profile on Suite 101; http://www.suite101.com/profile.cfm/dakotacase. You should be able to get to my articles from there.

Best to do it for a hobby and not try to make money at it...I had 24 articles published and never made a dime...just loved doing it. REAL hard to make a living at it unless you get your name out there.

No kidding! Ive written for everything from News Papers to websites. Ive never made a dime either. Im going the novel route and hopefully that will get me started somewhere... I guess time will tell...
