gzilla45
Well this is getting ridiculous. Last night we got close to 3 inches of rain and I just read we can expect about that much again today. I'm praying my basement doesn't flood! It seems it has done nothing but rain all year and I sure hope we don't get this much precipitation over the winter or my house will be buried in snow. Last weekend I went up to my hunting land, which has a lot of swamps even in dry times, and it had standing water pretty much everywhere. I have to cross a small creek to get to my prime stand and the creek had turned into a small river. The logs I use as a bridge are completely under water and I can only image what it is like now after 3-4 more inches of rain. Grrrr... Ok enough of my rant. Time to go back to praying for sunny days.
Tominator
Seems everywhere is one extreme or the other. Too much or too little. I'm on the too little right now, but back in the early summer, I was on the too much end. We need balance. LOL.
Ravin R10 man
Think us Wisconsinites need to build an ARK! Hard to beleive we went from 4 dry years to this..I and a few other farmers lost all our crops to hail damage /heavy rains in july...I will accept donations...LOL
Ethan Givan
Send some of it this way. We are extremely dry. We have only had .13" of rain in the last month, with temps in the 90s most of that time.
gzilla45
Sorry to hear about the crop damage. It seems like every other day in July we were getting bad storms. Well it finally stopped raining, for now anyways, and I ended up with just over 4.5 inches since 7pm last night. I'd be glad to bottle it up and send it anyone's way so long as you pay shipping. c_lou
Maybe if all of us cheese heads go out side and start flapping our arms towards the south, all the rain would move that way. Lots of small mudslides around our area.
Buckhunter76
Here in South Western Ohio, we could definitely use the rain, shucks my pond is a little over 3ft shallower from lacking the rain, bring it my way for a couple of weeks, lol. Shaun_300
Been a normal - wet summer here in eastern Ontario. Calling for showers tomorrow and saturday. Saturday is the duck opener which sucks, I hate hunting in the rain. Hopefully it's just showers as they're calling for. But I bet it'll either be sunny, or pouring. They are never right.
