Griz Posted October 7, 2010 Report Share Posted October 7, 2010 I am so pumped and excited right now I just had to jump in here and share this with yall... I don't no if I should of posted this here or not. But I thought what the hey... My Daughter went on her very first ever big game hunt this past weekend. Her and some friends went to Casper Wyoming on a Antelope Hunt... I had sent my 22-250 with her to hunt with... When she shot it for the first time she hit dead center at 300 yards... I told her that the old man still has it...LOL... Well lastnight around 10pm. I get a call from her sayin' that she got one... I don't no who was more excited...Me or Her... She said they walked about 3 to 4 miles out and ended up stocking up on this Doe at 450 yards... She took steady aim and the 55 grain Reming Core-Loc found it's mark... The Doe dropped dead in her tracks... Now I'm wondering if I'm going to get my Rifle back...LOL... I told her that I was going to sign her up for snipper school...LOL... This is Shannon's very first Big Game Animal ever... Wow...I am so happy for her... Now she's wanting to go Deer Hunting with me... I'm ready to take her out... Plans are as of now I will be going with her next year to Wyoming...Should be a blast and a memory I will never forget... Here's a couple of pics with her Antelope...
