I have heard they are starting to chase around here but from what I seen today they haven't gotten fired up yet. I found 3 little bitty scrapes and just 7 rubs that looked to be vel et rubs. It usualy happens the last week of October and the first couple weeks of November,I think the heat has them a little bit late around here. I know there are bucks on the farm but the heat has them laid up and not moving much,.

I have no idea how accurate he is. I'm still trying to figure out what the gray stands for on the west coast.

I know this: The bucks here are starting to get big necks, and they are still hangin out together, but fighting lots.

I think the rut will be right on schedule here around the 15th of November. It might be a few days earlier.

Shows early rut here right now. While I think Larry Weishuhn is a very knowledgeable man when it comes to deer, I don't think this is quite accurate for here. Pre rut is getting close, this cooler weather should really help get daytime movement going.

Don't know how accurate this is either, but there is a hunting forecast on accuweather http://www.accuweather.com/outdoor-sportsman.asp that might be interesting, looks like our forecast for this weekends youth hunt is predicted to be very good.

Starting to show early rut signs here in Oklahoma...at least the East Central part. Seen three bucks behind does, not pushing or chasing, just trailing. Had one young 6 pointer come in yesteday morning about 10 minutes behind a goup of 3 does and followed their exact trail and grunted every step he took.
