Alright....dont tease...Im serious, I had an older model Bissel, that just up and died, so my wife bought "ME" (ADDED FOR BUCKEE..LOL)A new one called the Bissel Momentum, and let me tell you...its the cats meow...it sucks up stuff I had no idea was gonna come out of my carpet.....I feel I have a much cleaner house now, it was clean before, but this is the cats meow for vacuum's....and now you can heckle, but I can bet that if you did more house work, and this is the truth...that more hunting time will be in store, say mid november....lol...Bissel Momentum...great vacuum..........and with (5) kids, it works great............al

Boy ohhh boy do I love to see this...thats a fine deer young man, and shot from the ground, quite a trophy for that reason....I have slung arrows, and have killed a great many critters, nothing from the ground yet, be proud that is quite a feat for an archer.....kudos to you, bringing the backstraps home to the family...al

That was a good video...ref the calling...this is how I do it, and I kill quite a bit....dont use the bark call until about an hour after sunrise...that way the audience is awake and ready for you....and bark all you want, but listen for a live speaker, and his or her cadence or pattern of barking...another trick is to rub to metal ends of shotgun shells together to imitate feeding on a nut...its a distinct sound, I find more squirrels by leaning against trees, and watching the nuts fall from the tree...they will give up their location...before the video, which was informative on skinning, my own way is to skin half way down the back from the base of the neck, to the mid body, taking a long fat part of fur off the back...then I undress them, like a coat....I take the front "arms " out, then pull it all the way off the body, including the tail bone...then I butcher it....when I rinse my squirrels off in the sink in parts, I use a paper towel or two, drie them, then use a small lighter and burn off any fine hairs I missed...have fun with it...if you keep them cool, and are not too far from Rockford, Illinois area just south of Wisconsin, Ill drive up and get em....my 5 kids and wife love squirrels............good luck, have fun, wear a facemask, and walk slow....al

You will be fine.....dont worry about the 12 ft thing.....its high enough, the zip tie limbs under you on your stand is a great idea, and it wont bother anything.....but if you are still, draw slow, with the deers head/eyes out of sight, you will score countless deer in that tree......they are hitting the beans hard in Illinois....I cant wait for opening day.........Im hungry for backstraps.........stay focused, dont educate or "overhunt" the stand.......take only good shots, there are plenty of deer, take your time and kill it the first time.....good luck buddy...at 12 ft , you will be fine...........al

Sell one camera that has "no bugs" and the other as a "parts" camera......dont sell stuff that doesnt work all the time on the forums.....no one will forgive you...lol...................thats my honest opinion...you seem very honest in what has happened up to this point with them.............al

I drilled two this morning....skinned them quick due to the heat, but I saved the entire hide for pics......hopefully I can find my camera...lol............two nice fox squirrel females......one was at 15 yards, and the other was at a good 125 plus.....the 17hmr with the red tip entered the front leg on one side, and blew the other leg completely off......this is the first one I hadn't shot in the head with the 17hmr......but do to the distance, I decided on the heart and lungs.......I wont make that mistake again........the skeeters chased me out of the woods by 9....I have bites on my eyelids, lips, and inner ears.....I think they licked the OFF spray right off me...lol..............aal

**Update.....used a road flare in the dark of night.......apparently their den was a hole right below a landscaping railroad tie, that was saturated with water, and did not catch fire when I brought them JUSTICE...cause I watched the 45 minute flare smoke the whole insides of their den, and nothing moved this morning......so, no more hornets....the road flare at night works............but my wife was not too keen on the smell of sulfur aka rotten eggs coming into the house......I mentioned the 10 stings all over her body, and our 5 kids possibly getting zapped......and she said.."Burn em ALL.."...lol............so, problem for now is solved........................thanks for all the help gang.................and yes, I did flood the den for 1/2 hour to make sure I wasn't gonna burn my house down in the middle of the night..............al

I have dealt with some pretty mean things in my life....when I worked in Corrections for 14 years, I met the cream of the crop, and the meanest they came............well, my wife was helping me push mow the yard this morning, and she ran over the hole of what are known as "meat hornets" or yellow jacket hornets....the real small 3/4 inch ones...........well, before she knew it, there were hundreds out of the hole, and I counted 12 really serious stings, and I mean they got in her leg of her shorts, and we had them in the bathroom stinging us trying to get em off her........folks, if you get a chance to kill some.....do it for me.....I have a flare right now that a firefighter gave me to strike and put in the hole at night, I guess the sulfur smoke will send them to the place they belong......but these things are no joke.....they are still swarming and stinging the mower....I guess once agitated, one will put off a sound that calls the others in to help.....it must of happened, cause they came after her and would not stop.............she is finally resting after taking ibuprofen and benadryl for the swelling................thanks for listening, be careful...........Ill let you know how the fire goes tonight.....................al
