Have a shop day today, and figured I'd stop in and give an update. Here I am two months into the new job, and couldn't be happier!!!! Didn't start off to good, had a few growing "pains", but that has all been worked out. I left a company I had been with for just over 10yrs, so you can imagine the stress of making this decision, but it looks like I made the right one. My stress level is not nearly what it used to be, I'd get home at night and be completely worn out, and asleep by 9, now it's usually ten, ten thirty. We started a statewide contract last week rebanding the 800MHZ radios, and this is going to last the better part of two years. This is gonna have me travelling all over the state of Oklahoma as well, and this is something I REALLY REALLY wanted to do. (hence why I am not on as much) We also have a contract to install a complete 911 dispacthing center that is coming up, and I will be going to Seattle, Wa next month for factory certification on that. All that coupled with the service contracts we have, I am gonna be one person man for a long time to come. We also are installing lights, sirens, radios, etc for public safety personnel as well, and have a person here that does that. Rob is building himself a nice operation here, and one that I am so glad to be a part of, and I couldn't be any happier!!!!!
