Not alot of mast in southern WV either.....I have done alot of scouting and seen a few red oaks with acorns but no white oak.....beechnut hit in places as did hickory and walnuts that should keep the squirrel hunters happy.....soft mast like apples hit great but I have not seen any wild grape yet, I guess hunters will have to hunt the mast till it's gone or hunt near grassy areas....or hunt over bait (legal in WV for deer).

Life is to short to let someone tell you how to live or judge you.....you are the one who has to live with what choices you make, do whats right in your heart and try to live "your life" to it's fullest and you should be OK....we will all be judged by the ultimate judgement day court one day.....the ones who try to drag you down in life better have there "life in order".

Taking care of your wild game makes alot of difference in it's taste....I cut deer for a deer processing facility and seen alot of deer come in that were not field dressed properly (heart and lungs bladders full of urine left in the deer etc.) I have seen it all,......my family eats plenty of deer meat and other wild game and enjoy it....I think the ones who complain about there deer meat being "gamie" need to take a closer look in there care of it....a good cook is another key to good eats also!!!!

Re: Washing clothes Baking soda is the way to go.....I have used all the others and find that the Arm and Hammer does a good job, and at a good price, try it.

Since this is a hunting board....I will say the wild turkey and the whitetail deer are very good among the wild meat.....but I do like my beef and pork, and chicken ain't bad either lol!!!!!

How many West Virginian's do we have on the board now????........Hope to see some mountaineers log in and join the gang for hunt talk!
