Re: Not a popular hunting caliber Im with Billkay on this, you guys cry when they connect the gun to hunters, you cry when they say its not a hunting caliber.Does the word Paranoid have any meaning to some of you.Theres a guy running around shooting people and your worried about how its gonna affect your rights cause of some crap the media puts out.Well I got to say its probably no worse than any of the other crap the media puts out 365 days a year.Wing nut, I agree with you on one part, the caliber never should have even been made public.But I agree with Snapper on the rest, please edit your post.

Re: What is the funniest thing I was sitting in a stand one night where a friend of mine had killed a buck the day before.A mink came out and was eating on the gut pile.Then a opposum showed up.I never knew these two animals would fight over food but they sure do, it was funny.The mink kept running the opposum offand theyd go around and around and i remember thinking they could both invite a couple friends over and thered still be enough for everyone LOL.

Another thing that happens(around here anyway) is people shoot the deer then cant afford the mount.Sometimes the taxidermist does the work on the deal that he gets to keep the mount for a certain period, say a year, to advertise his business with, after that the guy gets the mount back. Or another scenario is the guy gets the deer, cant afford the mount, so the taxidermist buys the cape and rack from the guy to use for himself.

I got my new property tax bill in the mail a couple weeks ago here.I about choked.Somehow, somewhere, someone doubled my property taxes, even though according to them the value of my land has actually went down from last year and i have made no improvements.Now on the other end of town a friend of mine built a brand new 2 1/2 car garage and his property taxes actually went down.I think the lunatics are running things everywhere

Re: new medicines and how they are used? wtnhunt, the viox, steroids and cortisone are just for the swelling and the pain.If your bones are screwed up there probably isnt much they can do other than try to get the swelling down, the splint should help some if you wear it.Sounds to me like thats what hes trying to do is to get you comfortable again.
