I killed one of my best birds in the rain! Not a lot of gobbling...I did some purring and soft yelps at the edge of a field. Brought in the hen with the strutting boy closely behind.

Yes...PA can only hunt til noon until the two weeks of the season...then all day. We also can not hunt turkeys on Sunday's. Really can't hunt anything on Sunday!

Well my season ended with seeing a monster 8 pt...easy 130's maybe 140. Any rate never connected with him...but had a 120 class come in and circle down wind at the very last possible light! My step brother is in Afghanistan ...so I'm taking his 12 year old boy out for the first day of rifle season.

What's the brand name of the game camera that has a seperate box for the memory card? I've heard of it...but can't think of the name. Kinda like the idea of setting the camera up...but pulling the card to check pictures from a different location.

Thought of another cam in the same area...also thought about the spy point or such that sends pics to email or a separate box...but I figured if I don't get a "good" pic of them...then I have a blurry picture of the person who stole my cam and lost another cam!

Ruth...this was on my posted property...nothing is safe! As for cables/locks...nothing a pair of bolt cutters can't handle. So I don't waste money on those...not giving them a cable as well as my camera. BTW, this cam was less than 4 months old!

So this was my first experience having something stolen. Guess I was more pissed that they were trespassing than anything. Haven been to this one stand in 5 days with a cam set up on a scrape. Excited to check the cam and hunt the evening. Only to find the camera gone...didn't touch the stand that was only 15yards away...but still ignorant enough to take my cam! Up until now...if I caught someone on my land...I would get their names and ask them to leave the way they came in don't come back. Now, I'm going to call the state police and press charges. Gotta get the word out that I ain't taking it any longer! I hope the sob that took my camera gehe a lot of use out of it before he/she stands in front of God!

The most comfortable stand I have is a gorilla lock on with a large platform and foot rest. With that said...I feel tree placement is most important. My gorilla is in a large maple...slightly leaning back with no knots or limbs where your back rests against the tree!

Welp...2,000 mile report... So far very pleased with the truck! Averaging around 18mpg...seen as high as 23.5. Only real complaint is the DEF tank! Why didn't they put a gauge on it? I'm hoping it wasn't completely full when I got the truck...came up on the screen saying I had (999 miles left)...21%. So added 2.5 gal. ($10) thinking the screen would say something like 75%??? Nope, it then said "ok"...can't see how much is in there and no gauge... so all I know is its "ok"!

All the guns I own...none are cambered in -06...got like 4 guns I never shot...need to shoot soon!
