I like both for different reasons...slate usually runs alittle softer and maybe a little easier to use. With that said...my "go to" call is a Primos power crystal (glass)!

Flat black barrel and scope. Still need rings and bases though. Yes Don...you can play...lol. Got it basically for a bear gun. Got it all free with my bass pro rewards card...lol...best kind! Other guns needing shot are a Marlin .243...Browning .308...and Bushmaster AR.

As a father of a "special" child...I understand where your coming from. My boy is 5 1/2 years old with downs syndrome. His speech really is his biggest hurdle. Kindergarten (being around other kids) has helped. He too has speech therapy several times a week...and it has def. helped. He does a lot of babbling...but I can't wait to have a conversation with him, he has a lot to say! Its tough sometimes...people who don't have a child with a disability ...really don't understand! Keep your chin up...I have faith in the Lord...there is reasons!!!
