Anything related to the business that results in income to the business is deductible. If your shop is attached to your house a percentage of the utilities related to that area will also be deductible. Real estate taxes for the shop are also deductible. Don't forget website hosting also if you have website. Make sure you keep all reciepts and keep accuratte records of income and expenses.

Poodles make excellent retrievers. Any dog that will go into the water to retrieve a down duck, is a dog worth taking in my own opinion.

The pros is that it will last forever. The cons is it aint your real fish. Fiberglass fish replicas can cost just as much as a skin mount. In order to make the replica look like the real thing, the taxidermist must be very good at painting bass.

This aint rocket science kid. Just get out there and scout the waterways. Ducks are everywhere. Look for marshes and swamps with standing timber. Rivers, farm ponds. I think you really need to get yourself a copy of Realtree's Fall'n Skies DVD with Jeff Foiles for starters to get your blood pumped up. Then go out and get some Duck Commander DVD's as they get more technical on the aspect of duck hunting along with things to do in the off season.

Thanks all. It was a kids first buck kill. The family couldn't afford a full shoulder mount and just wanted an antler mount. I talked them into the skull mount and threw in a free hide tanning. So he gets his deer hide back tanned, and a nice skull mount.
