I'm going to get my wife a deer rifle and was just wondering what you ladies like to shoot. I'd like to get something a little lite on kick because our grandson is going to start learning to shoot too. Re: Opening Day.. We kinda have 2 openers, On the Cherokee reservation it opens the last weekend of mar and the state opens the first weekend in april. I usually hit both lol

Re: Do you keep a trigger lock on you\'re pistol Well everyone, my belief is if you raise your kids right you shouldn't have to worry about it. I keep mine in a cabinet most of the time except for the one under the truck seat. If they are out I dont worry, but I will put em up if we have company. My daughters are 12 and 18 and they wont even move em out of thier way unless they ask me first. It's not because they are afraid of em, I just taught em growing up that there not to be played with. My 12 year old isnt allowed to shoot her BB gun unless I'm with her. She abides by my rules and we have no problems. Thats why she now has a 30-30 and a 410 also!
