Well guys, the wife says I need to get rid of one of my four wheelers, Here is a solid hunting rig,! I have a 2001 Honda Rancher ES (electric thumb shift), it is the orange color: It has Honda's 242 drive shaft, allowing the normally full time rancher to be put into either 2 or 4 wheel drive! Brand new 25" ITP Mudlite Tires, and a brand new Warn 2500# winch: I am located in Western Minnesota. $3100

Re: Cabela\'s 2006 hardcover catalog I spent just over 3000 at Cabelas last year, and it was the first year I recieved the hard cover edition: Of course my wife about fell over when she saw the hard cover edition! This year, I haven't spent nearly the $'s as last year, maybe $800 and I have not recieved a hard cover one yet. I think it is directly related to how much you spend!

Re: Lake of the Woods? Just returned from a trip out of Kenora, Ont. We fish the Canadian side of LOW every year on a father/son fishing trip. I fish the south shores in MN a few times a year, but the trip to Kenora is worth it! Huge pickeral (walleyes), Pike and Musky! PM me if anyone wants more info, as it is truly one of my favorite areas to fish!

Re: Hog Hunt Wanted How hard is Land Access? We would be looking at coming down and getting video of a hunt. Obviously Missouri or Kansas is a lot closer than O.K or Texas, but if we could find a good way to do it, we would make a marathon trip heck 1100 miles one way.... It has been done! Do people charge to hunt pigs on their land, etc? Thanks for any info!

Hey all, anyone know of anyone who guides hog hunts, or would have an opening for a 2 or 3 guys to come down and arrow a pig or two on video? A couple of buddies and I were talking that we would like to drive South from MN, and try to find a place where we could hunt hogs for a couple of days at a reasonable price. Is it hard to get a tag, are they needed? Lots of people here seem to get a ton of hogs and it is making me hungry for bacon!

I am posting, just hoping for well wishes, and to let you all know that I am scared, excited, anxious and exhausted all at once! I had a great "stag" party this weekend with golf, fishing and cards with a dozen of my buddies.....including my best man, and brother. I am excited and just wanted ya'll to have an update! Thanks for the many P.M's and congrats....only 6 days to go! I'll post pics of "our" new house and my "man room" after the wedding! Man, birddogs going down....very shortly!

Re: Would you? I would be o.k. with it: I would also ask for the younger students to sit in the very front, and I would talk with my 5 year old about what is appropriate/inappropriate behavior. Or.....just drive them yourself. It is a free country. Or hire someone to drive her. If you choose to use the free bussing, then I guess you just have to go with what is offered. IMHO

If there was no interest the fool wouldn't be a millionaire! Re: Question about selling a shotgun. I sold a gun a few months ago: I brought the gun into the local UPS office, they shipped it for me: As long as it is being shipped to someone with a FFL it is very easy to do.

This topic is of a great interest to me: I am just a knot head: My father busted his way through the union, and is a very respected man in the field of medicine: However this week I was denied a promotion on the basis of :" Sorry you're the first victim" and "It's my personal belief anyone in this position needs to be a state registered sanitarian" well folks I am not registered.....I spent the last 6 years teaching kids, and the last year working for the state I grew up in...now my boss says no promotion because I have not taken the test to become registered....well grievence is filed...scared would be an understatement, but I have a union supporting me: In my mind, I'd be happy to got 1 on 1 with the person not willing to promote mein a game of Jepardy, but that can't be done....When you truly feel your being walked on, you need to stand up for what you believe is right....IMHO: I'll let you all know how it turns out....thoughts and prayers are being accepted by me :-)

Re: 4-wheeler and Snowmobile This is the only place I have put the ad: I am hoping to get 2750 for the 4 wheeler, and 1050 for the snowmobile: I will sell both as a package for 3500 and for anyone who buys both will include a 1 place tilt bed trailer with wooden sides. I don't want to take it in the shorts on the deal, but this is a good deal for someone who wants a great fourwheeler and a snowmobile perfect for hauling the fishhouse, hitting the trails or racing a buddy! Re: Stupidest pick-up lines ever heard How about a rejection line: I once heard a buddy walk up to an absolutly gorgeous gal and ask her to dance.....she turned around and said......"I can't belive you even talked to me, much less asked me to dance"....he glanced to the side, gave me a smile and said......"I didn't ask you to dance........I said you look fat in those pants"........After a kick in the groin, he was still smiling as he said "I told you I'd say it......you didn't believe me.....she was way out of my league!" That still sticks out in my mind as the stupidest pickup line, or rejection line ever!! Good for him :-)

Re: b-day gift for the wife I bought my last girlfriend a youth model 20 gauge: She could shoot all day, and had a blast with it! The gun, was perfect for me to "borrow" and use as a grouse gun when I would hit the trails...she left, I got the gun....still a great gun! :-) You can't go wrong with the youth model 870 20 gauge!

Re: Corn? Salt licks....They'll be more interested in a salt block: Put it out where you had the corn, and you will get the deer pics of them licking the salt rather than eating the corn....Pretty common I think.

See, your ready :-) I took a long term sub job in a physics class a few years ago....and that was a question a kid asked me...I said you would burn up....but then he through the gravity issue in.... There were other questions....I am trying to think of.....I'll get them, then we'll see if you are ready :-)
