  2. Re: I almost forgot Joe, I think it is a mexican based flour used for making tortillas. I am not really sure what it does but it called for it so we bought some. It doesn't use that much.
  3. Re: I almost forgot Here is the recipe. It was awesome. 4 pounds Boneless, cubed venison 2 Jalapenos seeded & chopped 3 tablespoons Bacon grease 3 tablespoons Soy sauce 5 tablespoons Fresh ground cumin 1/2 cup Chopped green bell pepper 5 Garlic cloves minced 2 Onions chopped 1-1/2 Cans of beer [*not lite] 8 ounces Can tomato sauce 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper 2 cups Stewed tomatos 6 Jalapenos fresh & whole 2 tablespoons Masa harina 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1 ounce Jack daniels whiskey Brown meat in bacon grease. Saute the onions, the chopped jalapenos, & the Bell peppers in the bacon grease until the onions start to become transparent. Meanwhile bring the beer & whiskey to a boil and add the meat, seasonings, except for 1 Tblpsn of cumin, & the onions/peppers to the pot. Allow to boil for 5-7 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium then add the tomatos & tomato sauce. Stir occassionally while continuing to cook for 30 minutes. reduce heat to simmer and cook for 1 hour. This is an original venison chili recipe that I had sworn never to reveal ever to anyone.

  6. Last night we had our 2nd anual chili cook-off at our rifle club and guess what..................... I won We had about 12 entries and I beat them all. I got the recipe of one of the forums ( I can't remember which one) and it was great. It had jack daniels and 2 cans of beer in it. It was awesome. I knew I would be in the running after I tasted everyones but wasn't sure that I would win. I did and took home $54, well I kinda lost it at the bar.

  9. Went and shot a practice round last night. The set-up is pretty cool but tough. Targets range from about 5 yds to 33 yds. A few of the small targets and the angles make it pretty tricky. The pics didn't come out real good. I will have to try and get some more. ]

  22. Re: Prized Possesion?? Well if we are talking about material things then I guess my gun cabinet would be my most prized. I bought it when we got first married and it lived through all four of our kids and their friends. By that I mean kids fighting, throwing things, bouncing balls ect. ect. It is solid oak with deer etching in the glass.
