It went up 25 cents in 2 days here. The kicker is, this comes at a time when we have an 18 year high supply... Now how can you have an 18 yr high supply and soaring prices at the same time when consumption is still low.. That defies every law of economics supply and demand, except for one, monopoly.........

The solunar tables seem to be pretty spot on when it comes to fishing. Not quite as accurate when it comes to hunting. I still take them into account now though, even if it's just to make me feel better about sitting out there longer.

Personally I like a good Stout. Bell's Imperial stout is probably my favorite, followed by the Great Divide Yeti. Old Rasputin Imperial stout is also a good one. The Sam Adams Black lager coms in for a lighter beer and the old standy by Sam Adams boston lager.

I just saw another article on CNN where a man was found beheaded in a Phoenix apartment complex. One suspect arrested, 3 others fled back to Mexico. All are suspected Cartel members.... Time to put the troops in and close the border.. Don't bring that nonsense to my land

I bought a safe a few years ago and I thouroughly researched for months prior to that purchase. I spoke with different safe companies, locksmiths, some jewelers, and steel fabricators. I wound up getting a safe from Sturdy Safe company. They have the thickest steel and best fire protection of any gun safe you're going to find and for less money than a lot of the bigger named safe companies. They aren't the prettiest safe out there, but I'll put it up against any other one out there for safety and fire protection. On another note, if they had the time to use a grinder to cut the safe open and make that much noise, he should have a security system in addition. I don't care how good the safe is, if you have the right tools and time there's not much that's going to stop them from getting in. "Buy the biggest and baddest safe you can afford. you will quickly fill it. " I second that... and also, buy the next bigger size than you think you need as you will fill it up quickly.

If the Pres. won't order troops to the border to secure it, I still think the States have the right to protect their own citizens when the federal government fails to. They need to deploy the Guard down there and take real fire fight to the Cartels

I wound up missing the first one I looked at, actually the guy sold it out from under me. I'll hold my tongue on that guy. I did wind up finding another one though. A 2002 Crewcab 7.3 l turbo diesel with only 101k miles. It's not 4wd but I can't complain with the trade I made with the guy. -
What makes the oil pressure gage.......

A lot of the older trucks had "real" pressure sensors that would fluctuate with the oil pump as they are supposed to. My jeep idle was at 13 psi, which was normal idle pressure and would fluctuate to 42 psi or so running at 65. It's completely normal -

Has anyone used an ATV Disc for discing up small foodplots? I currently can pick up a small Brinley Disc and a Flip over style Disc ( looks like from agri supply http://www.agrisupply.com/product.asp?pn=41342&sid=&eid=) for a couple hundred bucks for both. I'm just wondering if they will work well. I don't have access to a tractor here but do have my atv. I'll drop a hundred or so pounds on top of the disc to get it to cut down good hopefully. Just don't know if they're worth investing in.

I believe I'm going to purchase one and try them out. I used to have an older redfield that I like, now that Leupold owns them they've got to be even better. I've havent' read a bad review on them yet and have heard high praise for them. Great scope for the money from what I can tell, mine will be a 3-9x50

Have a buddy call you 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting time... Just to check in and give you an out for an "emergency"..... Gives you enough time to meet, drink a beer, assess the situation and decide if you want to stick it out or not. At least she goes to the gym so that's a plus might be a hottie on the other hand could use a lot of help

Seems we have a really bad bear problem this year with them hitting our feeders. Was feeding corn, have to stop and go to soybean and hopefully they'll leave them alone. Anyone got any good tips on keeping them away from feeders? They've destroyed 2 of mine so far, had them hung between trees, one was about 9 ft high, he just grabbed it like and pulled the feeder off the bucket. The other one, a smaller bear climbed the tree and jumped onto the feeder and pulled it down. We can't shoot them so looking for ways to try and keep them away without scaring the deer.

Seeking advice/opinions .. I have a 98 Wrangler Sahara 95k miles, I'm looking at trading to a guy with a 2001 F250 4x4 7.3 L turbo diesel. Going to throw him a little cash too. Question is, who has experience with that particular engine? The truck has 198,000 miles on it with a good bit of towing involved. Anything in particular I should be looking for or checking out? Word I have on that truck/engine is that it should last a good 400k miles with proper maintenance. I need a good work/towing truck to pull my 25' camper with.

I can't believe the utter lack of respect of some people. The bad thing is, they think they are actually doing a good thing. Just can't argue with stupid. I'd buy the guy lunch and a beer for spraying them. If anyone ever protested like that at a relative of mine's funeral, I'd probably be in jail............

Yep! Get in there now and get the lanes cut. If you cut them, they will walk them. Deer will take the path of least resistance.

I haven't tried it myself, but if you have a harbor freight close by, they have solar panels you can purchase pretty cheap. I have used the solar ground lights for light during hurricanes though when out of power.
