    Black Mag 3 looks good on paper. When you add the hazmat fee it will cost about $50 a pound. That is a little steep.

    Just finished looking at all the pictures in the deer hunting contest. Man there are some great looking deers in there. Congratulation to everybody who has a deer posted.

    Took Lil Hunter and Fleetwood pheasant hunting this morning. We went to Glendale Fish and Wildlife Area. This is a put and take hunt. Fleetwood flushed two birds, Tim shot one I got the other. This was Fleetwoods first time bird hunting and he did a rel good job.

    Re: Opening Day of Crow Hunting In Indiana crow season opens on the 14 of Dec. Just bought a mojo crow to see if it will work. Nothing any funner than bustin a bunch of crows. Good luck with the rest of your crow hunting trips!

    Re: scope vs open sites For shots 50 yards and under open sites work fine. Over 50 yards it is nice to have a good scope.

    Re: Hows everyone\'s season shaping up?? good,bad,ugly? Went out on opening morning, shot a big 8 pointerwith my 1187 slug gun. That is the good part. Bad part is I am done for the year as far as buck hunting goes. In Indiana you can only shoot one buck per year.

    Re: which bullet to you shoot? 300 gr xtp mags in my Knight 50 cal. disc. Pretty pleased the the holes in the paper and the two deer I have shot using these bullets.

    Went to my Uncles, Wayne Couch "Over The Log Shoot" this morning. Had about fifteen shooters there. Shooting flint or percussions open sight only . This is an annual shoot . It is held in Southern Indiana on the banks of the Wabash River. A good time was had by all.

    How did everybodies season go? I got lucky and shot a nice bird. My son didn't even get a shot.
