  1. Re: Bigtime hunter starting tommorrows Allstar gam Thats the hardest I have seen anyone throw sense Nolan Ryan. I remember watching Ryan and hearing the catchers glove pop. He did well and we are very proud of him.
  2. Re: Bigtime hunter starting tommorrows Allstar gam Brad did well striking out all three in the first inning. Had one hit in the second inning for a homerun, it happens. His pitchs were in the high 90's consistantly. He loves to hunt in the off season. Lots of pressure on those guys and he loves to unwind.
  3. Re: Bigtime hunter starting tommorrows Allstar game [ QUOTE ] Pretty cool to see someone grow up into that lifestyle. Got any pictures of his first deer????? [/ QUOTE ] Never took pictures Ryan, he came down and shot a doe on the ranch, he has harvested a 214 class whitetail now in Texas. Of course he can afford to hunt the best ranchs. He hunts alot with Ryan Kelsco, first basman for the Padres. Im looking forward to hunting with him after baseball over. He stays so busy during the season. He hunts and fish's all the time. Peacaock Bass in the amazon is a favorite of his. Good to see someone living a dream.
  4. Brad Penny my cousins son and we very proud of him. He harvested his first deer with me and still hunts and fishes everday in the off season. He starting tommorrow for the Nationals League. Never thought years ago he would ever be where he is today. Won a world series and now pitching the all star game. Great guy and very down to earth, he just has better toys today and has a beautifull ranch here in Oklahoma. [image]http://[/image] Code:

  9. Re: Oklahoma 2005 Mounts The buck on the left harvested with a bow was a thrilling hunt. I looked down and he right under me, he then heard a buck grunt and started trotting away. He was about 200 yards and I started grunted hard, sounded like a duck call. Turned him around on a run and he ran right by the tree and I was grunted as loud as I could to get him to stop. He did about 30yrds pass the tree. Rest is history, thouse hunts you dont forget. Ryan we have some dandys in the area. I understand you guys got to see one. We will do are deer counts in mid August and Im sure we will see a few dandys.

    Montec Heads

Re: Montec Heads Nice broadheads Last year in the state Broadhead shoot. I shot with two guys that shoot these. Arrow flight was excellant. High score of the shoot was shot by these heads. I personally dont like sharpening broadheads
  11. Had a good year. Deer on the left is bow harvest. One on the right is a gun harvest. Both from Oklahoma. Also harvested a another eight pointer during the season with my bow. Looking forward to 2006 as well.

  14. Re: Drop Away rest recommendations Been shooting a trophy Taker for several years now. Simple and easy works for me.
  15. Re: Whisker Biscuit vs. Drop away rest I like the Trophy Taker shakey hunter for hunting. I feel my accuracy is so much better. I really have not had any promblems with arrow falling off. I shoot the fall away for tournament and hunting. Whisker Bisquit is used by my friends and works fine as well.
