Yes they will Honest story. I was laying down in the tall grass. Six point deer walk right up and step on my foot. Buddy was right there 6ft away with a primitive gun aimed at this deer. It was amazing. They got 20 foot away and started blowing. I have also had deer three foot from my gun and Im sitting on the ground in leafy wear. All you got to have is the wind blowing your scent away. DB Dont even think Elk cannot smell.

One pin works for meI set mine on 25yrds but can easily move it and set for longer shots. Garantee with practice it takes alot of choosing pins out of the process. I have won my share of tournaments shooting one pin. Quite accurate. I purchased the new Tex-Hunter sight from CBE and ut the cosmic impact aperture on it. Works great.

Hopefully Here last year buck! GT500. Qaurtering away shot at 27yrds. Slick Tricks certianly do a number. GTO was a nice Elite as well. Very fast as is the GT500. It was the first Elite bow I owned.

I usually move up and shoot ten yards and 20 yrds. Often stops this target panic. Sometimes target panic is just over thinking it. Learn to aim and like others have said let it float. But most of all dont let the brain over think it. DB

State shoot Oklahoma has had one of its best ASA seasons this year. This is the first year they are giving the nice belt buckles. Tryon will do it right. This will be a great shoot and congradulations to al that win there buckles and good luck to them at the classic. Oklahoma has some awesome shooters throughout this state. Highly encourage anyone in this state to come join. ASA and OSAA assc. OSAA is the National field archery assc. for Oklahoma. They shoot all venues of archery. Oklahoma archery is doing well. DB

Im still shooting senior pro, had a decent year but no in the money. 12th at Paris and 18th at Hattisesburg. 30th at Illinois after going for the 14 rings on day two. Had some luck this weekend Had one my best wins ever. Great shoot down that handled myself well. I never shot anything less than a ten in 20 shots in the shootdowns. Hit this 14ring on the last shot to nail the win. $250.00 and a beautifull belt buckle. Cant wait for Paris. Love the Elite bows.

Had close to 300 7th and 8th grade girls shooting bows today. Now I took a 3d deer target with me to demonstrate. The girls wanted to shoot the deer more than targets:D:eek: Think we got some natural born hunters in are schools here in Oklahoma. Had a blast. Many of you know me as a die hard Mathews fan for several years. Went to Elite this year. Here my hunting bow set up. Great bows and if you ever get the chance shoot one and you will see what got me to shoot them.

Now realize Tim in a wheel chair. Here his story.Wanted to let you know I knocked down my first deer this past Saturday morning and it just happened to be a 5 pt buck. I've shot plenty of deer with a rifle or crossbow in the past but have to say this will be the most memorable one yet. 16 yd shot quartering away he ran maybe 60 yards before he crashed, caught one lung and a main artery. Not bad for shooting 36lbs all but 4 inches of the arrow went through. If anyone ever gives you grief about posting archery related photos on a forum send them these and make sure you tell them that I picked up a compound after 17 years because of them - Thank you!My thoughts.Sometimes as hunters we often complighn. Tim is an inspiration to me. Gosh what a great story. Tim that one fine trophy there for sure.Okbwhtr

Man this dude is a monster. Iowa got it going on up there. Here I have read about it Shot in East central Iowa this past week. It has 28 points and should gross close to 270” and net upper 250’s to lower 260’s. Will be the new state record bow kill when it’s officially scored.

Buck scored 197 and was eight years old. Harvested on a draw hunt on an amunition depot here in Oklahoma.

Elite bow I have shot many bows in my day but these Eites are nothing but first class bow. Barnsdale LImbs and lightweight well designed risors. Really have come to appreciate the craftsmanship in this bow and man its fast. DB
