WIth bow I have passed a few 140-150 class whitetail and I know some 175 inch plus mulies, one my buddy has on vidio, just did not want the hunt to end, with rifle I am sure the one mulie was 190 inch, I let my duaghter try to get him thinking he was a 170 class mulie then when she missed I was vidio taping and there are a few words that could not be shown on tv when he took off lol, whitetail rifle pretty sure I have let a few 160 class walk, never get the monster that is supposed to be walking the prairies if I shoot the first buck, [that is what I say but I do just not want to be done hunting] This year I am pretty sure I will be able to change the bow mule deer, i know there are a couple 190 class mulies running in a pasture along with a compleat monster guys say will push the 220 mark, [chec out pics in bowhunting room under deer I want,]I have the first 6 days off and I have told myself no matter what the deer is unless its the big one no shot will be taken,I know for a fact I will have oppertunity at the other big guys and then end the season with a doe or spike lol!! Oh well thats hunting!!

I live in southern sask canada, just about 50 miles from the USA border above glascow montana, we are hearing of alot of wolf spottings south of us, [near the border]even one this past winter right by town, plus up north it is the worst ever, wolves all over, we are lucky in the south part here if we see a wolf after nov 1 till I believe feb 31 with a trappers licence we can shoot them, but up north in the forest were theya re doing lots of deer kills you cannot shoot them, only be trapped by the trapper who has that area, another good thing here is ranchers are able to shoot them if they are threatning livestock or farms anytime, just have to report it and turn the carcass over to them! We were in yellowstone 3 years ago and talked to alot of guys around gardner and through out yellowstone, they are quit upset about the whole idea, I think wolves are a beutiful animal and should never de totally killed off but they do have to be controaled like any animal, what theya re doing down there is stupid, one guy I talked to used to ahve thoasands of animals winter on his land the past 2 years he only had a few singles and would find there bones in the spring, sad story!!

not a chance, gonna see him sept 1 and he will be in my truck hopefully lol!

I agree on average mulies, but you get one that is at least 6 1/2 years old like this guy or any mature mulie theya re just as hard or harder than a mature whitetail, no way you can sit in a tree and pattern a mulie buck like you do early season whitetail, the best way to hunt a mulie is to spot and stalk, and to get within bow range of a mature mulie consistantly is not for the average joe hunter, it takes many years of practice and constant sence to spot wind changes, the small branch in front of you ect! I am deffinatly not running down whitetail hunts or anyone, all I am saying is personally I find way more challange in hunting a mature mulie one on one stalking in his terratory then looking at trail cams and knowing a whitetail will come by a tree and sitting in it and waiting,Like I said no running down whitetail hunts, we have monster whitetail here in sask to, but you give me a mulie or a whitetail I will take the mulie everyday just becouse its more of a challange and harder work!!

me and the daughter was out last night at a hotspot I knew a few great deer were running last year,we did a super sneek up to within 15 yards of this guy and at least 10 minutes within 35 yards, got over 25 pics untill the shutter made him take off, not to scared ran 200 yards and fed over the hill, I seen him last year and he was quit a bit smaller but same extra sticker, what a awsome deer! I know I will be spending my whole sept in this pasture I know very well, all I need him is to make one mistake, I will not push him just wait till he is in the right spot, I am the only one that has asked for permission and its posted really well! I guessed the score and talked to a guy I know who knows big deer well and he said I was way out, he said it will score, over 20 inches better than I thought, just think his ears are over 10 inches ear to ear is about 24,[ I measure my mulie on the wall and his ear width is 4 inches wide, I cannot imagine what his curcumferences are!! this is not a small body, just guess what you will think he will score and we will see come sept 1!!! :'> :'> http://www.realtree.com/img/2/medium/IMG_0022.JPG :'> :'>

This animal is deffinatly not a pure bred wolf, look at the back of the legs, easiest way to see if they have dog in them true wolf or coyote will not have fluffy woolly hair on back sides of legs, this one does, look at the short legs compared to a wolf, a wolf looks like his legs are really long, for easier getting around in snow, not saying its not a cross, prob had malimute blood, but I would bet its not pure bred!

happy b-day there carson, hope you have a great day and get some monster deer pics on your camera today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used thunderheads for prob 20 years got a ton of deer with them, last year my sullpier did not have any and convinced me to try muzzys, I did not really want to but did not have much choice other than driving 100 miles to a store to get some, I took 4 mulie does, one mulie buck and 1 whitetail doe with the muzzys last year and 2 were lodged on far shoulder, one was a 15 yard frontal shot went in cut 3 ribs came out and hit the back leg bone shattering it, not one of the tips were damaged, unbelievable the strength of these things,3 of these would of been unusable again if I had thunderheads still, all I had to do thsi fall is get new blades, another good thing is they shoot perfect, no tuning for my bow nessasary, just a little fooling with the hieght, no big deal! good luck!!

not to sure what to say, I know those bulk packs of 40 winchester you get at wallmart are ok on coyotes, I think any factory loaded 22-250 on fox will do alot of damage, I have a few buddies who shoot the 22-250 alot of damage,[any gun on fox will do damage, there skin is so thin] that is why I shoot a .223, still good well out to 300 yards with 1/4 the damage, if you reloaded and slow it down a bit you will be fine, but then you will just have a .223 speed, good luck!!!

went to huntfest in saskatoon about 3 1/2 hours away, finally a hunting show in canada with the wild tv and cabellas putting it on, anyways he walked by us and the wife whispers she is going to scream oh boy its Jim Shocky and pretent to faint, I just about kicked her in the butt lol!! we waited in line for a bit then met his dad hal first what a guy, he asked my daughter if all the girls in our town were as cute as her, he is quite the guy just as on tv,then met Jim, what a guy, talked about my 13 yea rold daughters 185 in mulie last fall with the muzzleloader and he bowed to her and congradulated her, I then told him it was all in the guide,he told my daughter no way its the hunter and not to listen to me its only the guide if he is guiding lol!! what a nice familly and awsome people, also met and talked to Jason Peterson, quite a guy to, talked to Gary Donald of big buck mag, he got a bunch of pics of the girls deer and sheds and deer pics he said eh will call me about putting them in his mag, was a awsome day, will do it next year again, thanks wild tv and cabellas

I should not complain at least we got away!! Had 2 nice days then 2 drizzly days with nights that went down to 3 or about 35 as most of you know, we were tenting with sall the supplies you need for july, not november supplies!!the 5 day was ok but started to get colder at night and they were clling for rain the next 2 days, everyone was getting a bit testy so we decided to pack up and go to the city were my daughter is going to school, we spent 3 days there, wa snice, went to a movie bowling, ate a lot, visited and the stupid thing I did was decided after supper and a few cold ones to try to ride a mechanical bull!! no was a piece of steel and fake fur will get me, I did not give up after about 10 tries I was making the 8 seconds every time, he was making me lean and then bucking the other way but I I holding on tight and spured in his sides I was not falling, all my might to hold on and I did awsome!! sure I had soem awsome spills but on the air matress was kind of fun! I do understand why most bull riders are small just to much pressure trying to hold on 235 pounds , my wrist is killing me from holding on and my legs look like I filled my pants up lol, hard to get out of the car after our drive home, in other words i have never been so sore and stiff in my life!!and this was 3 nights ago!!!!!!!will I do it again??? you betcha, was a blast!!nice to be home and in a nice warm bed, good to be back with tv and computer,
