    Here I go

Re: Here I go Augh! Tell me not to beat myself up over this! I was just doing my bathroom cleaning job and it suddenly hit me that I did not answer a question the way I was suppose to! I mean I got at least part of it right but the prof. warned us about it and I forgot to do it the right way, aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

    Here I go

Well I'm getting ready, ok not really if I'm on here typing this, for my first exam of the semester, in Exercise Physiology, ugh...I hope I do ok,lol Then I have an intramural basketball game tonight, woohoo! We are playign a team that we should be able to beat though the captain tends to take alot of shots when some of us are wide open(I hate people like that) Anyway wish me/us luck.
  5. I would appreciate it, and my professor would to if she knew, lol, if you would keep her and her family in your prayers. She is my church recreation professor, awesome person, and her mom is in the 4th. stage of uterine cancer and they took her in (hospital I assume) this morning because they think this is it. Basically my professor is just waiting for "the" phone call but she said it will be a blessing if she goes as she has been in alot of pain. Anyway please just keep her and her family in your prayers. Thanks
  6. Here's to wishing you have a wonderful birthday and prayers will be sent for your dad. Happy B-day girl!
  7. I went out yesterday about 4:30pm. We have 14 acres of land, about half is pasture and half is woods. So far I have gotten 2 rabbits out of our woods and last night I saw 2 more but no shot! The first one ran out from under a small brush pile and when I swung my gun up, it got caughto n a stinking tree branch! The second rabbit, which was a big one, ran out, behind some brauch then came out again and circled half around me. Problem was even though I had a shot, I couldn't shoot unless I wanted to hit a bunch of sumac trees! Oh well, tonight is another chance
  8. Re: fresh 5 point pics Nice! Congrats! Your sheds up there are really dark colored compared to what I find in NY.
  9. Oh my gosh, I odn't know how much more my brain can hold. For any of you medical people or any of you period, you don't know how much stuff I have to know for my rec & eval of athletic injuries class. Next Thursday is our first oral exam where one at a time we go through history, observation, palpation, active and passive range of motiong, muscle tests, ligament tests, and neurological tests for either the foot or ankle in 8 minutes! My brain hurts from seeing all these terms like plantarflexion, dorsiflexion, posterior tibialis, anterior tibialis, flexor digitorum longus and brevis, etc....etc.... (I bet some of you don't know what I just named, lol) Do any of you have any helpful study tips for when it comes to memorizing and knowing all this stuff? I'm getting togetehr with a girl from class today to practice but man oh man my brain hurts, lol
  10. Re: fresh 4 x 4 set Yeah I know, your sheds are just bigger, therefore easier to see, lol!
  11. Re: Still Shedless.... Duh, I get his joke about the sheds falling up! I was merely being supportive.
  12. Re: fresh 4 x 4 set Nice pics and sheds! You guys in Sask. are killing us down here, lol
  13. Re: yesterdays hunt Wow, you go girl! Congrats on a nice hog!
  14. Re: BIGGEST DEER!!!!!!!! My biggest buck is definitely small compared to most of yours but hunting farmland in western NY doesn't produce alot of biggies but what I got I'm proud of. 7 point with about a 13 inch spread...I don't know what it would measure according to standards but probably not even 100,lol
  15. Re: question????????? Technically I have 2 decoys but the one is to replace the other because it is so old and beat up,lol. So I use 1 hen decoy but I have yet to get a gobbler in the spring with a decoy out. I did get a jake in the fall season with my decoy out, the only time. I think it is 50/50 with decoys, you don't need them to be successful but they are a visual help with a gobbler and keep their focus on the decoy and not you! I like the Ol' Yeller Slatek call by Knight & Hale, really easy to use, and I have various mouth calls. I'm waiting for a Quaker Boy Quad Threat Slate Call, if it ever comes in the mail!
  16. The sun is shining brightly, my mood is lifted from the bummy winter/cabin fever blues....and I'm going hunting! It is around 30 degrees I think which is a heat wave in my part of NY considering we've been near 0 for a week or more. I'm going to take my shotgun and take a hike in the woods, looking for rabbit/squirrel/grouse and if I'm lucky, maybe I'll find a shed but I don't know if deer have started shedding here yet but I would think so. I even got my exercise physiology lab write-up done yesterday so I don't have to do it today!
  17. Re: Nerf war\'s ....ouch ! Sounds like a fun night! Talk about being young at heart, lol! That's great you two can have fun like that!
  18. Re: dangers of the job (some pics) Wow! Has anyone seen the Crab Fishermen programs on the Discovery Channel? It is one thing to see it on tv and another to see actual photos. Stay safe out there!
  19. Re: All he could say was \"deer\" part 2 Cute pics and nice sheds!
  20. Re: fresh whitetail shed pics Nice pics and nice looking sheds ya found there!
  21. Re: Still Shedless.... LOL! I'm in NY and going to look around tomorrow and see if I see any antlerless deer or any sheds for that matter. If you have alot of snow, the sheds might be under the snow. I never really seem to find them until March when snow is melting but I figure by now the deer should have mostly shed here. Keep your head up and keep trying. Shed hunting is a little luck and alot of perseverance and when you find that shed, you will know it was all worth it! (ok, so you've probably heard this pep talk before, lol)
  22. Re: Pa Turkey Hunters...... Wow...I get 4 turkey tags (2 for spring, 1 fall in my area and 1 for fall in another area) for $5 (use to be $2).
  23. Re: Turkey Chokefor a 20 Ga. Hey Laura, I have a Mossberg 500 20 ga. and use just a Mossberg Full choke in it. I think I got it for $10 or $15 at Walmart.
  24. Re: Here\'s Some Big Ones! Wow, I haven't looked at this thread for awhile but all I said was that the antlers looked fake, I never said anything offending to HH.....I don't even think the fakeantlers are the topic of this post anymore...lol
  25. Re: WAL-MART!!! NOW!!! The Walmarts around here have brought out the turkey stuff.
