Went this morning, for the first time. Really green. Lots of leaves still on, weeds everywhere, looked like spring turkey season. We need a frost to kill the mosquitos too.

Whew, I"M BAAAAAACK. Sorry I missed out on the first 3 pages to the thread. I'm here. 1st off. Messed up my shoulder, dr's orders not to touch my bow til Oct. 3rd. No practice either.... I'll be out in the woods as soon as possible. Lil'..... I also have a small tree across my permanent stand. Chaisaw falls into bad shoulder category. It's getting fixed SOON. I ain't making any guarantees on shooting any deer, not to mention a big one. I did get drawn for a muzzleloader hunt at Muscatatuck Reserve near Seymour in DEC. I have the potential to harvest 2 bucks this yr. Although if left completely up to me, I'll foul it up somehow. Glad to be here, lookin forward to following along with everyone here.

If you've already got the rash...... I haven't found anything that really works.... I have had a little luck with lye soap...... Now, if I'm out and about and think I could have gotten into some...... Take a shower as soon as possible. Water as cold as you can stand it. Wash everything two or three times.... LOTS of soap. The colder the water the tighter your pores become. Seems to work pretty good. My grandmother told me that trick when I was a little kid....

My truck gets almost 14mpg...... If I were to trade it on a truck that got like 17mpg, any idea how long it would take to make up for the payments, insurance, license plates????? I guess I'll just keep it, and buy myself one of those scooters all the guys with dui's ride......

When my daughters reach that age, the boys, IF I ALLOW THEM TO, will sit on their laps only. And ONLY under my supervision. At all other times they will maintain at least two feet of seperation. That is all. Nice pics though.
