I have a Mathews Fx i have not used it for awhile bow shoots great very light and very fast! I am just testing the water if anyone would be interested. draw weight is 50-60 lb draw length= I believe it is around 28 give or take an inch I have another cam to shorten the draw if you had a smaller draw length I think the other cam is around 25 or 26. The bolts are 20" they are the Parker crossbow bolts! He was using a Parker tornado and Rage 3 blade broadheads. I have about 2 hours i can help him in the morning im hoping i can post some pics tomorrow nite!

Ok i will make this as short as possible. My dad is using a crossbow this year and shot a buck this morning around 1130 am. My father was hunting on the ground the buck was 30 yards and he shot him with his 40 yard crosshair. according to him the hit was high right behind the shoulder with a loud smack sound. The arrow broke off about 15 inches leading him to believe it was the off side shoulder. My father waited until 1 pm and found dark red blood but not alot. He trailed the deer for about 150 yards with a sparse blood trail. He came to an area the buck was beaded there was not a huge amount of blood but what was there was dark red! He left the area i am going to help him look in the morning. What are your thoughts on what happened? should the deer be dead? any other info you would like to include?

I hate Mathews! Being a college student my money needs to go toward books and rent. Why do they do this This bow looks amazing! Im going to be tempted every day now to buy one!

I am heading to West Virginia this weekend here in Pa things are starting to heat up. I have a little honey hole in Braxton county Last season there were good numbers of bucks im hoping this year is the same. It should be good by saturday November 7th. Have any of you West Virginians been seeing rutting activivty also wish me luck im pumped!

Go get em boys! I went to two farms that i hunt prob 5 fields was all. I witnessed about a 130 inch 10 pt mount a doe for about 20 seconds and dog her around the a field for 5 minutes when i left he was still bothering her. Another field had 2 year and a half olds in full battle not sparring trust me. A nice 120ish inch buck decided enough and charged the 2 smaller bucks sending them sprinting across the field the larger buck then chased a doe back and forth around the field. HAHA! No you wont get a DUI from redbull or any other energy drink. you may appear a bit odd if you have had alot and draw attn to yourself from police. When it comes down to an actual breath test or blood alchohol you will pass with flying colors. As for 5 hour energy i like it its not going to give you tons of energy but will take the edge off.

Be proud of any deer taken legally i know the feeling of not having a tag but there are plenty of ways to still be involved! Go with a friend or possibly hunt for a doe if you still have a doe tag. If this is an option for you maybe jump across a state line and hunt a new area!

I Hate net score i think its ridiculous. I say he will gross rite around 180 awesome deer! I think score should be done by displacement just dip the entire rack in water see how much volume it displaces.

I am also a fan of the 243 i shoot the ballistic silver tip winchester loads at 95 gr awesome and fun shooting gun and is plenty to kill any deer. I have also taken deer with 30/06 but just dont enjoy shooting this large of a caliber.

That is a 300 inch deer! WOW if its real! Im sorry but i question if this is legit just doesnt add up but if you held its antlers then the deer prob is a real deer but how it was taken idk?

In my very limited expierience i personally feel that it did for my case the 3 blades have always left good blood trails. The 2 blade didnt have a good trail in my one expierience but i know of people that tell you there trail looked like you spray painted it!

I have used them both more expierience with the 3 blade i have taken several deer always had great blood trails. I switched to the two blade this year out of curiosity shot one deer a buck had an awesome hole and the deer only went about 75 yards but blood trail was not great i didnt find blood until about 10 yards from the deer and the arrow was almost clean. the shot was rite through the lungs just above the heart. the deer only lived about 10 seconds but again blood trail was almost non existent. To be fair though its possible i was not walking the same line as the deer took however i thought that i was
