Re: My first Boone and Crockett.....
Illinois, no ifs ands or buts about it. You will have a chance at a 140 in. deer min. Maybe even a monster. A place you wont here about alot that is amazing is Campbell's Outfitting in Carmi, Illinois. Its way down in the southeastern part of the state. I think their website is www.illinoiswhitetails.com . If not them then look around west central Ill. Goodluck
i live in SO IL also, Centralia, where do u live, maybe i can find someone who has one, i am real good friends with a taxidermist so maybe he can help.
Re: Looking for Info from Illinois Members
yes, you need to come to Illinois. We have huge bucks here. Definitly need to come and try us out. No rifle hunting here though, just shotgun
Re: grrrrrrrrrr......
def did the right thing by not takin the shot with your bow, but whenever you got the oppurtunity to put a gun in your hand you dont wanna pass it up. good move by not takin the shot though

Re: Is southern IL overated?
No way it is underrated. I hunt in Marion county and with my county and the other 4 that surround us i know for a fact there have been at least 5 booners come outta here this seaso. I think we are way underrated because thats all you hear about is Central Ill
I use a whisker biscuit on my mathews Q2 and i was wondering if anyone thinks that it affects the arrow flight? I think it does after time because on mine the little carbon fibers are gettin tangled right where my fletchings go through. Do you think this is affecting anything? And if you had to pick would you use a whisker biscuit or a drop-away? Do drop aways affects arrow flight at all?
After seeing the post about QDM i wanted to know how big do the antlers have to be before any you guys will shoot. We try to only shoot a buck if he is 3.5 or up. But, if there is a 2.5 year old that has 150+ inches of rack on his head, it would be hard for me not to pull the trigger. So what would be the minimum score your buck has to be before you shoot him?
Re: Deer Hunting in Kansas???
